Belvidere Park District is a member of Northern Illinois Special Recreation (NASR).
Boone County Museum of History
Founded in 1937 by local citizens dedicated to preserving county history.
In 1968, a permanent facility was established to display artifacts to the public.
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Pettit Chapel
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as a memorial for Dr. William Pettit in Boone County’s seat, Belvidere.
