You May Donate to the Following Funds

The Mural Project

Join with the Boone County Arts Council and get involved with the Downtown Mural Project. Since 1997 when the original "Wall Dog Festival" was held, the BCAC has been creating professionally executed murals that celebrate the history and people of Belvidere and Boone County.

Fifth Grade Arts Festival - Support an Artist For A Day

The Fifth Grade Arts Festival brings all 5th graders at District 100, St. James, and Immanuel Lutheran together for a full school day of arts enrichment.  Since 2011, the students have spent the day with a variety of arts professionals which have included pottery, dance, theater, visual art, creative writing, puppetry, and music.  The “Support an Artist For a Day” Fund will pay the  $200.00 cost of one professional artist for a full school day’s instruction.  Each October over 700 students will gather at the Community Building over three days to learn about art forms that are generally not part of their school curriculum.

Memorial Fund

The BCAC has established a fund to which people can contribute in memory of, to honor special people, or that could be named as a memorial to which gifts could be made upon death. When the fund has reached an acceptable level, the money will be transferred  to an endowment fund that will perpetuate and generate funds for a scholarship to be given each year to a graduating student from a Boone County high school who will be going into the arts in higher education.
